Although “Šlokenbeka” Ltd. was established in 1993, we believe that the history of our company began already in the remote postwar year 1949, when the first road machinery station in Latvia was built in the Šlokenbeka Mansion. The original tasks were road repair and supervision in Tukuma District and nearby surroundings, but in the course of time they grew to new road construction, renovation and repair.
Currently “Šlokenbeka” Ltd. is a medium sized road construction and repair company owning 3 asphalt factories, impressive and modern variety of equipment, a road examination laboratory certified according to EU standards and the most important – skilled and experienced working team of 220 employees for professional utilization of all tools listed before.
The field of operation has significantly expanded as well – from Tukums to Riga, as far as the border of Belarus, Bauska, Kuldīga and even the Baltic Sea – there are roads built by us everywhere.
In 2008 the turnover of “Šlokenbeka” Ltd. reached LVL 15,8 million and on average up to 100 objects are put into operation every year.
